Celebrities need romantic getaways, too. While Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson were busy sharing kisses down the road, Wilson's "Marley and Me" costar Jennifer Aniston was enjoying a new fling with crooner John Mayer. First photographed together in April 2008, the two immediately downplayed the rumors of a romantic involvement. (Can you blame Aniston? Serial dater Mayer previously wooed Jessica Simpson, Cameron Diaz and Minka Kelly—all within the past year.) But after dinner at South Beach's Casa Tua, lunch at Michael's Genuine Food & Drink in the Design District, relaxing (and kissing) poolside at the Mandarin Oriental, the lovebirds could deny no longer.

It only took Brad Pitt long enough to sign the divorce papers with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston before he was spotted on a steamy break with new flame Angelina Jolie in her adopted second home, Africa. Though rumors had been flying for months that the two were an item after their undeniable chemistry on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith", the do-good duo was first photographed with Jolie's son Maddox on a beach at the Alfajiri Villa resort in Mombasa, Kenya, in a British newspaper in 2005. Soon after, Pitt and Jolie were also caught on film again playing with Maddox at her English country estate.

A mere two months after Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes started dating (and just before much of the world had even really caught wind to the unlikely courtship), they were all of a sudden spotted atop the Eiffel Tower on June 17, 2005—with a shiny new piece of hardware adoring Katie's ring finger. As jet-setting seems to be their mantra, Tomkat were pronounced man and wife a year and a half later in an elaborately-staged ceremony at Odescalchi Castle overlooking Lake Bracciano, outside of Rome.

In 2003, the then 41-year-old Demi Moore was framed as a Mrs. Robinson by the media. after being attached to Owen Wilson, Colin Farrell, Tobey Maguire—all significantly younger men—Moore was seen checking into the Mandarin Oriental in Miami with Ashton Kutcher, just 25 at the time. The odd couple spent Memorial Day week lazing about in southern Florida, before heading to Paradise Island with Sean Combs and his plus-one, Kim Porter. It seems there was something in the Atlantic water: Two years later, Kutcher and Moore tied the knot.

For months, the rumor mill was abuzz with talk of romance between the "Rendition" costars, but it wasn't until they were seen cuddling at the Carneros Inn in Napa Valley on a laid-back weekend in November 2007, away from all the Hollywood chaos, that the gossip was confirmed. The couple reportedly rented a multi-bedroom private home with 2,400 square feet of indoor space and 1,400 square feet outdoors.

In early 2008, 20-year-old Rihanna was photographed in the arms of a younger man, R&B star Chris Brown, splashing around in the Hilton Kingston's pool in Jamaica. Rihanna told reporters the two were "just friends," but the same month Brown crooned an acapella version of "Happy Birthday" at the Barbadian's celebratory bash. The singing dynamos continue to deny romantic involvement, but their attraction to one another is obvious.

What do the pair of share? Well, for one thing, they both hail from Spain. They've both been nominated for an Oscar (Bardem won in 2008 for his turn in "No Country for Old Men"). And they both apparently have an undeniable urge to fondle one another in exotic locales. After fighting off rumors that they were dating while filming together in summer 2007, the sizzling Spaniards were photographed entwined in each other's arms on a beach in the Maldives a few months later. In early 2008, they went south of the equator to yet another sunny destination, Brazil, then over Easter, enjoyed a romantic getaway in Nice, France.

Just weeks after Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake parted ways in 2007, he was seen in Park City, Utah, with Jessica Biel, looking quite in sync. The singer and actress heated things up on the chilly slopes, snowboards in tow, during the Sundance Film Festival. Biel, 24, stayed with Timberlake at his $1,950 per night, four-bedroom condo at the Trail's End Lodge and the couple was spotted snowboarding the next day at the picturesque Park City Mountain Resort.

After dating for several months in 2006, it wasn't until Owen Wilson visited girlfriend Kate Hudson on the set of her romantic comedy "Fool's Gold" in Queensland, Australia, that the world was tipped off to the union. The two, who were spotted in various parts of the country from Broadbeach to the Gold Coast, initially met while filming "You, Me & Dupree," but then broke up a few months after their adventures Down Under in May 2007. They may or may not have reunited by the time you read this.
