Empire Builder: Glacier National Park

Four days on the Amtrak's Empire Builder will transport you 1,620 miles across five states. The journey, offered by America by Rail, begins in the Twin Cities in Minnesota, continues on through the North Dakotan flatlands and barren eastern Montana, and concludes there in Whitefish, where guests spend a couple nights at a lodge in Glacier National Park. Riders travel the 50-mile-long Going-to-the-Sun Highway, often lauded as one of the world's most scenic drives, and soak up the flora, fauna, lake and mountain views. America by Rail takes care of all details, including meals, accommodation and visits to the surrounding area.
