This gallery is the Cayman Islands' only noncommercial venue for the exhibition of art. Its kindly curator is quick to tell you that the current premises are temporary; a move to bigger, more impressive digs is expected by the end of 2008. In the meanwhile, however, the compact but efficient museum mounts about six fine art exhibitions per year, each containing about 60 works. About 30% of the art is by local artists.
