Lago Pingo
COUNTRY: Chile
Lago Pingo consistently sees fewer hikers and is an excellent spot for bird-watching for the variety of species that flock to this part of the park. The trail begins as an easy walk through a pleasant valley, past an old baqueano post. From here the trail heads through forest and undulating terrain, and past the Pingo Cascade until it eventually reaches another old baqueano post, the run-down but picturesque Zapata
refugio. You can make this trail as long or as short as you'd like; the return is back along the same trail. The trail leaves from the same parking lot as the Lago Grey trail.
