As part of the plan to develop the Yerba Buena Gardens area as the city's cultural hub, the California Historical Society opened to house a research library, an ever-changing roster of exhibits that pertain to California's rich history, 2-hour walking tours of the Bay Area given by local eccentric Gary L.
