4 million visitors
The National Park Service records only visitors to the "R.E. Lee Memorial," the residence of the Civil War general. But the national cemetery includes dozens of other monuments, memorials and "memorial trees"—including the famous Tomb of the Unkowns, JFK's gravesite, and the mast of the USS Maine. Arlington's Director of Public Affairs Gina Gray estimates annual visitation at around 4 million.
