But when Cowell is looking for a Caribbean vibe, he hops a private jet to Barbados, where he's reportedly sunk nearly $15 million into a six-bedroom vacation estate situated on 10 perfect acres. Despite his image as a heartless destroyer of dreams, Cowell is also a budding philanthropist. According to The Sun, he will leave a significant portion of his estate to charity. In the meantime, he's said to have donated $15,000 to set up a dog sanctuary on the Caribbean island.
