The inspired cuisine of chef John Besh in a formal setting. It's located in an historic, four-story French-Creole building dating from the 1800s.

Stella's in the French Quarter.

It's romantic, small, gorgeous. Just reading the menu is wonderful. It's new American with some Asian influence

Best Wine
Brennan's.

They never mark it up, so you can get a good bargain.

Best Bar for a Business Drink
The Bombay Club.

They have a terrific martini menu, private booths, a living room feel.

Best Steak
Mr. John's.

It's a small, wood-paneled steakhouse. I don't know if it's the aging process, but the fish was very, very good, and the steak was very, very good.
