Food & Drink Shopping Activities Outdoor
Best Restaurant
There are two: Michael's on the Hill and Hen of the Wood.

Michael's on the Hill's head chef, Michael Kloeti, was recently named the best chef in Vermont and his food lives up to his reputation. As for Hen of the Wood, the menu changes frequently to feature Vermont's freshest organic ingredients, no matter what the season. And it's located in an old grist mill, so the atmosphere alone makes it worth the trip.

Best Wine
Michael's on the Hill and Hen of the Wood.

They have excellent wine lists. Or you can find great cocktail lists at Harrison's and Blue Moon Café.

Best Bar for a Business Drink
There are quite a few places to get a drink in town, but for a business setting I would suggest The Whip at the Green Mountain Inn.

It has a sophisticated and cozy, tavern-like atmosphere and is located in the town's most historic inn.

Best Steak
Hen of the Wood and Michael's on the Hill

Both serve Wood Creek Farm beef, which is premium dry-aged natural beef, and the most tender meat you'll find anywhere.
