Breitling Emergency Watch

 

Created for intrepid aviators and explorers, Breitling's Emergency Watch can transmit a mayday signal on the 121.5 MHz aircraft distress frequency that's monitored by Cospas-Sarsat. The signal, which lasts 48 hours and is broadcast over 90 nautical miles, must be reset after each use by the factory in Jura, Switzerland. Earlier this year, British adventurers who crashed their helicopter in Antarctica were rescued by a Chilean Otter aircraft after activating their watches.
