If you want to stay in the very heart of Córdoba, you can't find a better location than this hotel nestled in the Jewish Quarter. The name comes from the Umayyad dynasty that ruled the Muslim empire of al-Andalús (the Arab tradition is still clearly visible in white marble and latticework). The hotel receives natural light through a central colonnaded patio furnished with tables. Although in no way grand, the rooms are extremely comfortable and tasteful and have bathrooms with tub/shower combos; those on the top floor offer a panoramic view of the ancient tower of the mosque, which is literally around the corner.
