The Experience

Located at the edge of the magnificent Victoria Harbor, and integrated with Hong Kong's International Finance Center, an upscale retail and commercial complex, the Four Seasons is the best of both worlds--a top-flight business hotel that also offers excellent dining, shopping and recreational opportunities just steps from your door. The Rooms

Room design varies from contemporary decor to more traditional Chinese furnishings, but what you'll probably notice what's outside first--every unit has wall-to-wall windows, yielding stunning city or harbor view. You'll also find satellite TV with a 42-inch flat screen, broadband internet and 24-hour room service. Unlike many other hotels, Club privileges are extended to all guests for a small fee.

The Service

Getting in and out is a breeze. Hong Kong's Airport Express stops directly beneath the IFC, so you'll be in your room less than an hour after your plane lands, no matter what the traffic is doing. If you've got work to do, there's a well-equipped 24-hour business center; if you'd rather relax, the spa exceeds expectations. Sixteen treatment rooms and two suites offer a wide range of oiling-ups and rubbing-downs; the signature is a day-long urban spa escape for two, including dual facials, massages and a relaxing breakfast on the pool terrace.

The Highlights

Your room's spectacular view of the city will be nicely supplemented by a Hong Kong classic: a Star Ferry trip across the harbor to Kowloon, where your place in the city's expanding skyline (and the city's delightful nightly light show) can best be appreciated. The ferry dock is right outside the IFC complex, so on return you'll make your dinner reservation at Caprice, the Four Seasons' excellent French restaurant, with ease. There, you can peruse an excellent wine selection from Burgundy and Bordeaux, then enjoy lobster carpaccio, Canadian snow crab, warm foie gras with red berries or half a dozen other enticing dishes--and those are just the appetizers.
