Frommer's Very Highly Recommended

You won't find a better location than this lovely old villa within easy walking of over 100 Ponsonby Road bars, restaurants, and boutique shopping. Rooms are more stylish and classic than those at Great Ponsonby (below) and the prices are better. It's more of a boutique hotel than a B&B and all rooms are at ground level except the top story, multi-level penthouse, which has its own small lounge and tricky step-down bathroom. All are shower only. Great beds, a terrific guest kitchen/lounge, and wireless Internet throughout are all pluses.
