In one of the Old Town's most colorful neighborhoods, a few blocks from the cathedral, the Kasererbräu has baroque and Biedermeier furniture that goes well with the oriental rugs and embellished plaster ceilings. Most double rooms are spacious and all are cozy. Rooms are equipped with double beds or paired twins. Many bathrooms are squeezed into small spaces, but even so, doubles have bidets, along with tub/shower combinations. The small singles have half-tubs or shower stalls. In the hotel there is an area called Sanitarium, a recreation section with a waterfall, sauna, steambath, and solarium. There is also an Indian restaurant called Siddhartha.
