Set across from a beach, about 6.5km (4 miles) west of Palma, this government-rated four-star hotel was built in 1953 and renovated frequently since then. It charges less than hotels with similar amenities, and the nearby beach makes it quite popular with vacationing families, who dine within the airy, somewhat spartan dining room. The core is a four-story, white-sided masonry tower; some of the suites are clustered into simple, outlying villas. The hotel overlooks a garden, adjacent to the sea. The midsize rooms are efficient but comfortable and well suited to beachfront vacations.
