Not to be confused with the Gaudí hotel in the lower Gothic Quarter, this recent member of the highly regarded Eurostars group, opened in June 2005, is located in the heart of the Eixample, just northwest of the city's Monumental main bullring. It's a contemporary hotel with a sense of space and a relaxing decor of rich color schemes. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the bright spacious dining room provides quality international cuisine and buffet breakfasts. Couples staying in the Romantic Double rooms receive a complimentary bottle of cava on arrival. From the rooftop sun terrace you get great city views that take in the nearby Sagrada Família. The stylish and comfortable rooms all have en-suite bathrooms with tub/shower combos.
