This hotel lies behind an impressive facade and entrance marquee built right onto the sidewalk in the heart of Keswick at the market square. The owners have refurbished the interior, retaining the best features. Bedrooms are compact and eye catching, and have been refurbished. Seven rooms are large enough for families. Bathrooms are well appointed, each with a shower and tub. The upgraded Summit rooms offer extras such as bathrobes and mineral water. Guests may use the indoor pool and spa at Armathwaite Hall (about 9.5km/6 miles from Keswick) and golf at Keswick Golf Club during the week. For weekend bookings, there is a 2-night minimum stay.
