Smack in the middle of the airport, the Hilton draws most of its guests from meetings, conventions, and canceled flights. It's convenient and well equipped for business travelers, and an excellent fallback for vacationers who don't mind commuting to downtown. Guest rooms are large and tastefully furnished, with business features that include two-line speakerphones and excellent soundproofing. The best units in the 10-story building (which opened in 1999 and underwent a $7 million-plus-renovation in 2007) afford sensational airport and harbor views. A shuttle bus serves all airport locations, and walkways link the building to Terminals A (nearby) and E (farther). The Hyatt Harborside is the closest competition -- it's at the edge of the airport, which means less commotion outside and better water views but less convenient access to the T.
