Staying in one of these hexagonal, white-roofed redwood houses, all of which are built on stilts, is like living in a tree house. Screened walls with wooden blinds let in sea breezes. Each unique home has one, two, or three bedrooms with a full kitchen, dining area, and private bathroom. Each also has an elevated sun deck overlooking Sir Francis Drake Passage. Within a few minutes of the cottage colony is the beach at Spring Bay, and the Baths. The Yacht Harbour Shopping Centre is 2km (1 1/4 miles) away.
