Situated in the heart of the business, shopping, and theater district across from Retiro Station, the Sheraton is an ideal location for both business travelers and tourists. Rooms are large, and all received new bedding in 2005 and 2006 under the Sheraton Suite Sleeper program. The rooms are decorated in rich woods and deep red accents, with large bathrooms. The lobby is very busy, serving as a hub for many activities. A new interactive game and business center combination area was also installed in 2006, called Link@Sheraton. There are several stores in the lobby, including a branch of the H. Stern jewelry company. The hotel boasts four restaurants that it shares with the Park Tower (soon to be renovated into a St. Regis), including Crystal Garden, serving refined international cuisine in an atrium dining room overlooking Alem; El Aljibe, cooking Argentine beef from the grill; Cardinale, offering Italian specialties and Café Express, a fast food and pastry shop recently opened off the lobby. Its "Neptune" pool and fitness center are among the best in the city. The entire pool and spa complex is set in a garden, giving the sense of being in a resort, rather than in the heart of the city. One of the pools also contains a pressurized current to boost your workout during your swim.
