At the tranquil northern end of Seven Mile Beach, London House is a good choice if you'd like your own upscale apartment. Thanks to Hurricane Ivan, the hotel underwent a massive renovation and was essentially rebuilt in its original style. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining areas, and a private patio or balcony overlooking the water. Floral prints, rattan, tile floors, and Caribbean pastels set a tropical tone in most units. Each room has well-maintained bathrooms equipped with shower stalls. The complex has a seaside swimming pool (although, try to get a room away from the pool area if you're bothered by noise, as parties are sometimes staged on the patio), plus a volleyball court. You'll find a stone barbecue for private poolside cookouts and many restaurants nearby.
