On high-priced Little Cayman, this resort on the beach is the best deal -- especially if you're traveling with your family, as babysitting can be arranged. The style is typically Caymanian, with gingerbread decoration, metal roofs, and porches in the front and back. The resort consists of six duplex cottages that border the sea; each cottage is divided into two one-bedroom units with small but comfortable rooms. Pullout couches in the living room easily accommodate extra guests. The compact bathrooms contain shower stalls. Guests prepare their own meals in a kitchenette. The resort is on the island's south side, near the little airport, and pickup is provided free. The resort also rents cars to guests, although a grocery store, boutique, and liquor store are all within walking distance, and the resort offers free bikes. On the premises is the best affordable restaurant on the island, The Hungry Iguana.
