Located at the far end of the northern stretch of Seven Mile Beach, in West Bay (10km/6 miles from George Town), this tranquil and relatively isolated group of condos is entirely composed of privately owned oceanside suites. The venue here is local, West Indian, and rural -- if you're looking for big-city ways, forget it and move back south along West Bay Road. When you tire of snorkeling just offshore, retreat to the club's pool or Jacuzzi. Accommodations are comfortable, individually furnished and styled, well maintained, and, in some cases, better than those offered by nearby competitors. Condos feature tasteful furnishings, private bathrooms with tubs and showers, and a screened patio and each receives daily maid service. Each renovated unit comes with a fully equipped kitchen. Children under 12 stay free, and cribs and rollaways are available. Between March and December, management here will agree to subdivide any two-bedroom suite into studios and one-bedroom suites by locking doors within each individual unit. But between December and March, the staff is a lot less flexible: At that time, the only available option is renting an entire two-bedroom suite.
