Harris Cove is a throwback to a simpler, more rustic time. Though these cottages were built in the 1930s, new owners have updated them with new furniture, floors, and appliances. They remain unfussy but comfortable with full kitchens, sitting areas, and nice-sized sleeping areas. Each cottage sleeps four. Their setting beside a quiet shallow cove -- with gazebos, lounge chairs, and hammocks, kayaks, and paddle boats to rent -- makes them an old-fashioned getaway. In late 2007, a 65-foot pier went in.
