Here's a modern inn with old-fashioned Eastern Shore hospitality. Set on Knapps Narrows across from a bird-filled marsh, the waterfront rooms take full advantage of the lovely setting, with French doors and balconies or patios. Every room is decorated differently, but all have fireplaces and most have "ultra spa baths." The inn has a cozy lounge, a restaurant named Isabel's (after the hurricane that tore through here in 2003) with a great reputation, and a waterfront bar. There's piano music in the lounge on summer weekends. The staff is ready to help you find all the treasures Tilghman has to offer.
