This is a classical, contemporary hotel that has carved out a good market for itself among independent travelers, although it can't compete with the big guns reviewed above. Although it seems distant from the crush of Cannes, it's actually only a short but winding drive away. The modern palace shares a 4-hectare (10-acre) park with a sports complex. The open-air curved outdoor pool is surrounded by palms. The guest rooms are stylishly filled with all the modern conveniences, including bedside controls, and well-appointed bathrooms.
