On the shore a few meters south of Pension Fare Maeva , with which it shares a beach beside the shallow, rocky lagoon, this pension offers a wider range of accommodations than any other inexpensive establishment here. Top of the line are two duplex apartments with kitchen and bathroom; the mezzanine level contains two double beds. In the middle are three \"beach huts\" -- actually small, simple bungalows with plywood walls, tin roofs, unscreened windows, and shaded verandas -- facing the lagoon across a lawn. Guests in the huts and in the dormitory share toilets, showers, and a sand-floor communal kitchen with campers who pitch their own tents on the lawn. Ariiura Camping has a better beach and a more picturesque setting, but the location here is much more convenient to Fare, just 2.5km (1 1/2 miles) away.
