This resort will undergo major upgrades during the life of this edition. Set upon an 8-hectare (20-acre) tract of lush terrain, it stands within mature gardens upon a desirable stretch of white-sandy beachfront. Guests are ushered along garden paths to the various two- and three-story annexes containing the bedrooms, the floors of which are covered with either ceramic or marble tiles and furnished with English (usually Queen Anne-style) mahogany bed frames, dressers, and armoires. Each has a balcony or patio. The beachview rooms are the most desirable, naturally. The swimming pool here, incidentally, is the largest and most dramatic in Grenada, replete with waterfalls, two Jacuzzis, and a swim-up bar.
