With four locations right in the heart of the Old Quarter, this is a good no-frills option close to Hoan Kiem Lake. The staff has an amazingly friendly, can-do attitude and can help you with any detail, like renting a car, motorbike, or bicycle. Rooms are compact, but all have the quality amenities of a proper hotel. For those traveling with their own computers, the budget locations (Hang Bac St. and Ma May St.) offer in-room wireless connections, the other locations have faster ADSL connections. Larger suites are a good choice, and all rooms are done in dark wooden trim. Bathrooms are small and clean. This is an affordable minihotel with attitude -- like a terrier who thinks himself a Great Dane.
