This is a love story. Part one: A Japanese visitor, LeeAnn, meets stained-glass artist James Hargraves while on vacation on Oahu. They fall in love and marry. Part two: While visiting Kauai, they discover a 1924 plantation house and fall in love with it. They lovingly restore the old house and convert it into a bed-and-breakfast filled with 1920s and 1930s furniture and fabrics, and James's stained-glass work. There's a room to fit every visitor's needs and budget, from a small $55 room with king-size bed, kitchenette, private entrance, stereo, VCR, and lanai, to a $75 room with full kitchen, private entrance, hot tub, VCR, stereo, and private lanai overlooking the koi pond. Part three: Guests arrive and fall in love with this grand old house themselves . . . and everyone lives happily ever after (at least while they're on Kauai!). P. S. They just celebrated their 12th anniversary.
