Tucked into the residential neighborhood of Maui Meadows (and a 5-min. drive from the nearest good beach) is an oasis of fruit trees, a flower garden, and a sun deck with picnic table, chairs, and a hot tub overlooking the ocean. Both rental cottages have their own washer/dryers. The two-bedroom Ginger Cottage is best for families, with full kitchen, two separate bedrooms, and an enclosed lanai. The one-bedroom Palm Cottage makes a cozy honeymoon cottage (it also has a sofa bed). Guests can gather fresh fruits for their breakfast. Other great amenities for guests include beach toys and snorkel gear. Occasionally owner/hostess Karen will waive the 5-night minimum for last-minute bookings. They also rent a three-bedroom, million-dollar vacation home for just $310 to $375 for four.
