True to its name, this three-unit bed-and-breakfast is located on 1/2-acre of lushly landscaped property at the top of the Maui Meadows subdivision. From the rooftop lanai, guests have a spectacular view of the sunset behind Kahoolawe and Lanai and of the West Maui Mountains. Hosts Rick and Dale Pounds have done their best to make this one of Maui's classiest vacation rentals. From the continental breakfast stocked in the unit's kitchen (fresh island fruit, juice, bread, muffins, jam, and coffee/tea) to the decor of the suites to the heated pool, Jacuzzi, and individual barbecue facilities, this is a great place to stay. The location couldn't be better: just a few minutes' drive to Kihei's sunny beaches, golf courses, tennis, and shopping, and restaurants in Kihei and Wailea. Each unit is a roomy 600 square feet. The separate cottage has a living room, full kitchen, and separate bedroom; the poolside studio is a one-room unit with a huge kitchen; and the poolside suite has two bedrooms and a kitchenette. You can't go wrong here.
