This place isn't for everyone: The hang-loose atmosphere might not be your style. Way off the beaten path, Hale Akua is a collection of eclectic buildings where, at certain times of the year, guests can choose to go \"clothing optional\" outdoors. The main house on the property has breathtaking ocean views and private lanais off most rooms; guests share the living room, bathroom, and kitchen (but you're not allowed to cook meat). The Cabana building, next to the 60-foot pool, is a two-story house with five separate rooms, two kitchens, and a dining area. Also on the property is a cottage with two rooms. Other on-site features include a hot tub, fountain, lily pond, hammock, sauna, and panex-tree maze. Yoga classes are available.
