If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation, away from it all, this brand-new, custom-built home with three B&B suites may be for you. Located just a block from the beach (not a swimmable, white-sand beach, but a beach just the same) at the extreme west end of the island lies this home in a residential neighborhood offering daily continental breakfast (fresh local tropical fruit, cereals, waffles, pastries, coffee, tea, and juices), complimentary beach toys, use of the kitchen and cooking facilities. Each bedroom is spacious with hardwood floors and great views. Two caveats: If you plan to tour around the island, you might want to stay in more centrally located accommodations as it is quite a schlep from here to Lihue, let alone to the North Shore, and their rack rates are pricey for this side of the island (check out Waimea Plantation Cottages where for nearly the same rate you can get a private studio with kitchenette).
