Nestled in the foothills of Mount Waialeale, about a 10- to 15-minute drive from the beach, is this 3-acre flower farm and bed-and-breakfast. You can just imagine the view: flowers, flowers, and more flowers. Just wandering around the grounds is like being in a botanical garden. The most popular unit is Hale Akahi, a two-room unit located beneath Kathy and Bob Offley's round home, on the ground floor. You enter through an enclosed wooden porch, which has a spectacular view of the verdant valley; the apartment is decorated in white wicker furniture with brilliant tropical flowers splashing color throughout. The views are breathtaking and the king-size bed is comfortable, but the draw here is the bathroom: A huge, blue-tiled tub, big enough to soak in and surrounded by green plants, makes this unit one of a kind. Also on the property, in a separate house, is Hale Elua, with a full kitchen, and a breakfast nook with a view of the flower gardens, a mountain lake, and the ocean in the distance; a queen-size futon can accommodate extra guests.
