These beachfront condos are a good option for families and others seeking more space and privacy than they'd get elsewhere in Lihue. You get all the space of a condo, plus you get access to the amenities next door at the Hilton where there is a spa, restaurant, and so forth. The only drawback is the unsafe swimming conditions on the beautiful but windy white-sand beach. The buildings were recently painted and upgraded (new barbecues areas). All units are outfitted with tropical decor and bamboo-style furniture, a fully equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer, and a lanai big enough for two lounge chairs, a table, and four chairs. The two-bedroom units have lanais off each bedroom, too. Although the units are individually owned and decorated, the website has photos of each unit so you can see the exact unit you are renting. The immaculately landscaped grounds contain pools, tennis courts, barbecue areas, and a volleyball court. The Wailua Municipal golf course is next door.
