If you dream of an oceanfront condo but your budget is on the slim side, here's your place. This condominium complex offers small, reasonably priced units in an older building located in the quiet part of Lahaina, away from the noisy, crowded downtown area, overlooking the boats in the Mala Wharf roadstead (a protected place to anchor near the shore). The compact units come with full kitchens. The bedrooms face the road, while the living rooms and lanais overlook the ocean and the island of Lanai. The soundproof walls are a real plus. The building is about 35 years old but well maintained. The only two drawbacks are no air-conditioning (it can be boiling hot in Lahaina) and no laundry facilities.
