Targeting budget business travelers in town for only a night or two, this is a bare-bones, do-it-yourself kind of place, with luggage carts instead of bellboys and even a designated ironing room. That said, it does offer a few perks, including free breakfast, free use of computers and Internet access, and free shuttle service to the convention center. It also houses a China Travel Service office, which can arrange visas, transportation, and package tours to China. Its rooms, all measuring 24 sq. m (258 sq. ft.) and priced the same (the range below reflects low to peak seasons), feature contemporary furnishings (including sofa beds), good reading lamps, showers instead of tubs, and bowl-shaped sinks. Since prices are the same, try to get one of the 15 rooms on the highest floors that have partial harbor views between buildings. It's located across from Times Square, but its entrance is not well marked. For travelers looking for convenience and affordability, this is a good choice.
