This wouldn't make the top 10 list of hotels I'd recommend in Sultanahmet, but I include it here because the location is great (quiet, undiscovered back street), and after 27 years in business, it's iconic. Rooms are small and relatively clean, with bathrooms outfitted with old standing showers. Some of the rooms have carpeting, but I'd opt for one with wood floors, for hygiene's sake. I'd recommend this only as a budget option, and only if the price (preferably lower than quoted here) is right.
