Lying along "Hip Strip," this well-run hotel fronts Doctor's Cave Beach and is set in the midst of Jamaican restaurants, bars, dance clubs, and watersports kiosks. In spite of the increased size of this hotel, it still offers a touch of Jamaican hospitality not found in the larger resorts. Guests enjoy the bubbling Jacuzzi out back and meet fellow guests around the pool. Rooms are midsize and attractively and comfortably furnished, the more expensive opening onto the sea. Other hotels open onto a garden in back. On the patio of an English-style pub, guests enjoy lunches of Jamaican specialties such as jerk pork or British fish and chips. More elaborate food is served in the exotic Waterfall Restaurant, with both international and authentic Jamaican dishes.
