The Dan Panorama is around the corner from the King David Hotel and a 10-minute walk or quick bus ride to Ben-Yehuda Mall (the bus stop is at the hotel's front door). Although carefully run and centrally located, it's less fancy than the nearby King David and lacks the King David's gardens and views. The elegant public areas glisten. Standard rooms are comfortable and many have been recently renovated: superior rooms are more spacious, with newer decor. The staff is friendly and efficient; there's a small rooftop pool. As at all Dan Hotels, there is variation in rack rates for rooms, depending on the type of view.
