The poshest digs at Heathrow, this deluxe hotel lies just south of the M4 about 5 minutes east of the highway that leads to terminals 1, 2, and 3. Since 1991, it has housed tired air travelers from all over the world. The grand spa has a swimming pool and two whirlpools. You'll enter the hotel through a courtyard with potted trees. Persian rugs, brass-railed staircases, and chandeliers live up to the "Edwardian" in the hotel's name. Rooms are medium in size but adorned with hand-painted hardwood furnishings. The bathrooms are in tile and marble, with robes, a shower, and a tub. All in-room televisions have a channel reserved to broadcast flight information. Car hire is also available.
