The foundations of this dignified town house date from the 16th century. Some guest rooms were decorated in romantic French style, with draped canopies or four-poster beds. Each room is outfitted in a style inspired by a period of French history. Most of the compact private bathrooms have showers and tubs. You enter the hotel through a narrow hallway and climb one flight of stairs to the reception area. Don't be put off by the staff members, who may appear detached.
