Conveniently located in Vieux Lyon, this Relais & Châteaux hotel is an even more stunning choice than Cour des Loges. One of the great city hotels along the Rhône, it is a bastion of taste and luxury. The views from the lounges, terraces, and guest rooms are the most panoramic in town. Converted from a 17th-century convent, the building retains many of its original Italianate architectural details. The accommodations are spacious and comfortable, decorated in a style that blends modern Italian design with Renaissance reproductions. In 2004, the hotel was enlarged with the creation of a nine-unit annex, just across the street, where rooms and suites are a bit larger and more modern than those within the hotel's original core.
