Inaugurated in June 2005, this superbly refurbished 19th-century building is now one of the Hoteles Catalonia group's most prestigious new Madrid hotels. Combining period character with fully modern amenities, it stands six stories high, like most of the surrounding buildings in the Salamanca district. Bay windows and decorative grilles are key features on the hotel's traditional brick facade, and the well-equipped rooms have parquet floors and warm wood furnishings.
