This 19th-century palazzo was once used by the Duomo for housing visiting church officials. The midsize rooms are simple, with hideous 1970s built-in units, tile floors, and plush easy chairs -- a few even get small terraces. The thin windows do not keep out all the traffic noise (not constant, but there). What it lacks in style, it makes up for in location -- just off the main pedestrian drag leading from the cathedral to Castello Sforzesco.
