The simple rooms above this restaurant in a 15th-century lakeside villa on the main square are currently at budget status in terms of decor (though the price has crept up), but they plan to renovate another level up soon. The parquet floors will remain, as will the stylish solid wood furnishings -- with lovely details of inlay or carving. The bathrooms are plain, and there's no elevator, but you're right on the harbor, and the midpriced restaurant is quite good. It offers Italian fare year-round, with an inventive fusion flair in summer; the downstairs room looks very plain (though you can also sit out front under the arcades), but the upstairs dining room is understatedly elegant, with a stuccoed ceiling and a lakeview terrace. March to November the restaurant is open daily; Oct-Feb daily except Wed.).
