In the modern Fontvieille section of Monaco, this stylish, contemporary hotel faces Princess Grace's rose garden and the sea. Guest rooms are done in what owner Ken McCulloch calls "hybrid hip," a style that evokes both Miami and London. Elegant touches include Lartigue photos of the Riviera, high-tech cabinets filled with video games, and chocolate leather furnishings. Guest rooms have deluxe linens and Frette bathrobes. The main disadvantage is that the hotel is in a condo complex whose residents share the pool. But a boat carries guests to a tranquil sandy beach nearby.
