The refined interior of this place is more tasteful than you'd expect in a member of a nationwide chain. Since being sold by its former owner, however, it has lost its top position to the much more stylish and tranquil Gallici, and there have been increasing complaints about a less than cooperative staff. The lounge seems more like a private sitting room than a hotel lobby. Many of the rooms have mahogany Victorian furniture, Louis XVI chairs, marble-top chests, gilt mirrors, and oil paintings. The bathrooms have hand-painted tiles and contain a tub or shower. Breakfast is served in a small room opening onto a rear courtyard.
