Named after its original owner and builder, the early-17th-century Marquis de Blauvac, this hotel occupies a town house whose neoclassical facade and interior stonewalls and ceiling beams have been carefully preserved. Inside, amid Provençal fabrics and accessories, you'll find a cozy collection of public rooms and bedrooms. Each is high-ceilinged and charming, with an unpretentious decor -- usually with a large armoire and other antique touches -- that you'll almost never find in large chain hotels. Bathrooms are small but tidy with tub/shower combos.
Note: Some readers have posted complaints about bedbugs at this hotel, while others have praised their stay. Be aware when checking in.
